1. Should we have an Internet connection to enjoy the works?
No, once the system has downloaded on the Internet all the documents required for to read the works, the system can be disconnected.
The manager’s rights should also get the using rights and the specific files needed to read the same work. If, for example, your manager is installed on your mobile phone, this can be done just before reading with the wireless network.
2. If the system is disconnected, how the is the payment done?
Reminder: The payment is made during use and not during download.
The manager’s rights (i.e: mobile phone) does not only verify that you have all the rights to read files, it also has an electronic wallet. If you have the sufficient amount on your wallet, the manager will allow reading. It is that simple!
3. Is the bought or rented work readable only on the computer used to download it?
No, the system is based on copyright’s respect and using right, you can use any other device to enjoy your work, as long as it is approved.
4. Can I use this system on any platform?
With our principle, the user si clearly identified with its using rights, but the user is free to use any system he wants to to enjoy his rights.
5. Can the downloaded and crypted documents be exchanged with friends?
Yes. In general, it is sufficient to exchange identifiers. The identifier allows you and our system to be informed about copyright. With the exchange of identifiers, you can download the works. But you can also distribute encrypted files.
Beware, in some cases, encrypted files can be different from one another. This protection depends on the rights granted by the work’s owner.
6. Do you use a peer 2 peer?
Yes. Using a peer 2 peer can save bandwidth and facilitate sharing. However, some works can not be downloaded in this way, protection is individualized.
7. Do you use DRM?
No. We do not use DRM, these are related to the reading device.
Furthermore, DRM are not compatible with an Open Source device. However our way of encrypting works is in our patent, as you may doubt it...
Our management system allows to respect the rights of use. To prevent piracy of our files, they will be encrypted, but encryption does not depend of the player itself.
8. What is the interest to buy a work with AWAWAT?
With our solution your work does not leave you, is never lost, can be lent and comes back!
This solution has the advantage of allowing you to take your rights with you. You can always get your work (encrypted files) on the Internet and continue to use it even if you have forgotten or lost the original file.
If you lose your phone, your provider will send your rights to your new device. A code in the phone protects access to your rights.
How it works : by buying a work on the Internet with our solution, your rights are on your manager’s rights: your mobile phone for example. They are saved by your service provider managing the rights.
